Could an illness or injury be plaguing your pet?
When people get sick or hurt, they visit the doctor, describe their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they can’t tell us when something is bothering them.
What’s more, many animals are good at hiding the signs of illness, which can allow it to develop and worsen undetected.
Veterinary diagnostics enable the team at Country Grove Veterinary Clinic to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness and injury can vastly improve the likelihood of a positive outcome.
Laboratory
For any needed laboratory tests, such as bloodwork, cytology, histopathology or more complex diagnostics, our clinic works closely with the True North Veterinary Diagnostics Lab. They are an accredited veterinary laboratory located in Langley and have Board Certified Specialists who provide a more thorough reporting and interpretation.
Imaging
When a physical exam and lab work aren’t enough to reach an accurate diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, including digital x-rays and ultrasound. These tools enable us to evaluate the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.
Digital images can be reviewed by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.
If your pet has been acting a bit out of sorts lately, don’t take chances. Contact Country Grove Veterinary Clinic right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.
