Kora
Registered Veterinary Technician
Kora graduated from a BC Veterinary Technology program in 2021. After graduating, she started working in emergency clinics in both BC and Ontario. She then later transitioned into a general practice where she is passionate about anesthesia, surgery and laboratory work. Kora has one sassy kitty named Marley. On her days off, Kora likes to spend time outdoors; hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, or at her cabin enjoying a nice campfire. When you bring in your kitty to CGVC, I’m sure Kora will be there to say hello and grab some cuddles!
Makayla
Certified Veterinary Office Assistant
From a young age Makayla’s love for animals was evident, shaping her aspirations and guiding her path. Growing up around many animals of all shapes and sizes from snakes and birds to dogs, cats and horses. Makayla has always known her heart lies in veterinarian medicine, and her dream is to pursue veterinary studies to obtain her Registered Veterinarian Technician Certification. Aiming to expand her knowledge and contribute more profoundly to the welfare of animals. In her free time, Makayla enjoys taking long nature hikes with her beloved energetic puppy, Bean. Tiva, her sassy and independent cat prefers cuddling on quiet evenings. Makayla has a true passion for delivering quality medical care to the patients here at CGVC, in turn, enjoys improving their quality of life.
Natalie
Certified Veterinary Office Assistant
Natalie joined the CGVC Team in 2021 as a certified Veterinary Office Assistant. Natalie has gained a wide variety of unique animal experiences, which include a certified VOA, a professional dog groomer and trainer as well as volunteered in reptile rescue and rehabilitation. She has also worked a year in emergency medicine. This has allowed her to gain a greater knowledge and appreciation of the many different health care needs of all the animal species. On her days off, Natalie will most likely be working on one of her crafting projects which include painting and cross stitch, reading or hanging out with her two beloved Corgis, Fen and Freya!
Jennifer
Certified Veterinary Office Assistant
Jennifer was drawn to the Veterinary Industry because she deeply related to others who cherish the bond they have with their animal family. Jennifer wanted to be a part of a Veterinary Team who also has a deep passion for helping people provide the best health care for their family pets. Jennifer graduated from the Douglas College Veterinary Office Assistant program, and has over 10 years of experience in the Industry. She also has some experience in Emergency Medicine. She enjoys continuing education – whenever there is a local seminar, Jen will be there!
